  2. 5.Add potatoes and fry them add water, cover and let them cook for 5 minutes on low flame. - 6.Now add other vegetables cook for 3 to 5 minutes on low flame. - 7.Add green chilies and fry - them for 2 minutes on medium flame. - 8.Now add soaked rice and 2 cups of water.
  3. **I added half cup of water along with rice and 2 cups after adding rice. I used 3 cups of basmati rice and 2.5 cups of water. - - After adding water to rice let it boil once and then check salt and add salt as require at this stage and mix them - Now cover the pot let the rice cook on medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes. - - Vegetable Chicken Pulao is ready to serve. - You can serve it with Raita, plain yougurt & salad.
