Make ready 2 large onions (fried)
Make ready 2/3 cup oil
Get 250 ml Yoghurt
Take 3/4 tsp salt or as per taste
Take 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Take 1/2 tsp red chillies powder
Prepare 1/2 crushed red chillies
Take 1 tbs ginger garlic paste
Prepare 1 tsp Cummin seeds
Make ready 2 bay leaves
Get 2 black whole cardemom
Get Fresh coriander for garnishing
Make ready Black pepper powder for sprinkling over kofta's eggs
Royal, Elegant, Delicious, this dish will be an amazing curry that goes well with chapati, naan, any kind ofrice, pulaos or parathas. Add chicken stock cube and mix well. How to Make Nargisi Koftay Recipe Add garlic, ginger, salt, onions, red chili powder, green chili, green coriander, gram flour and bread slices to minced meat and grind finely twice. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté.
Steps to make Nargisi kofte perfect desi meal:
For kofta…..First of all wash minced chicken or beef and drain out water completely….shud be pet dry….
Now chopped onion in a chopper and drain out it's water then in a chopper add ginger garlic and chillies and chopped them….we need too much blended paste that's y first of all chopped solid ingredients….
Fry the onions and Now again in a chopper add all masalas and make a smooth mixture….it shud be chopped into fine and smooth mixture….
Now take out all mixture in a bowl and hard boil the eggs and remove skin of them
Now make nargisi kofta or scotched eggs…..take a small ball size mixture in your hand..make ball then press and place egg in the middle….gently cover all side of egg and press it well by the palm of hands to make smooth ball….
You can make 6 to 8 koftas from this mixture… depends on eggs size… preferably take small to medium sized eggs
Now take a pan heat plenty of oil fry the Scotch eggs for 2 to 3 minutes… don't fry golden brown just half done for better taste and colour of koftas….fry all and keep aside.
Now make gravy…..fried the onions and blend the onions with yoghurt….make fine paste… onion shud not be over fried… otherwise gravy will be little bitter
Now in a pan add oil.. ginger garlic pasteand black cardemom and bay leaves… fry until aroma comes..now add all remaining ingredients…add little water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on slow flame…
After 2 to 3 minutes add scotch eggs and leave on steam cooking for few minutes more until done and keep required consistency….
Yummm and delicious koftas are ready to serve…garnish it with fresh coriander
Serve with hot nans in winter and salad….cut into halves before serving and sprinkle some black pepper powder on eggs yolk…
Add tomato paste,red chili powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder,salt and mix,cover and cook until oil separates. Nargisi kofta is the desi version of Scotch Egg. To prepare the Nargisi kofta boil the eggs and peel them. To the mince or ground meat add spices and mix well.
